In 2013 I challenged myself to never order the same meal out twice.  This is not the same meal in the same chain out twice, but the dish itself twice.  The aim behind this is get me out of the rut which I was beginning to get into when eating out; not thinking about what I ordered but just going for trusted favourites.

Each month I am writing up a summary of my culinary explorations, and where possible trying to get a travel twist into proceeding.  As we are firmly into the second part of 2013, I am starting to think about what challenge I will set myself for 2014, and preferably one which is not instagram based!
